Household gardens typically provide a significant source of food for villagers and farmed produce is sold in town at the market. Damage sustained by farms and gardens means that food provision is now an immediate and major issue for communities in Vanuatu.
ADRA Vanuatu is helping to distribute food packs in Luganville and the surrounding areas to address immediate shortages of food. ADRA is also providing seed packages and cuttings to help communities re-establish their ongoing food sources.
